Words to every song a memory

I weep at the empty passenger seat

Through the wind, I feel you

 

Trips to places you wanted to go

I would’ve taken you if I’d known      

I would never get the chance

On the beach, I feel you

 

Your friends are getting married

They are moving on and thriving

I go to show my love for them

Through your friends, I feel you

 

Uncle Nick is what they called you

Your nieces and nephew are growing

I hope they know how much you’d love them

Through my grandchildren, I feel you

 

I’m getting back into life again

It’s a struggle every single day

I’m conquering goals for my life

You’re silently cheering, I feel you
